With years of elected service, a strong business record, and deep roots in the Sturgis community, Rod Bradley is ready to step in and lead as Mayor for the remainder of the current term.

Rod Bradley has already earned the trust of local voters, having served on the Sturgis City Council and as a Meade County Commissioner. That experience, combined with a hands-on understanding of what it takes to develop a community, makes him uniquely prepared to hit the ground running.

A builder in every sense of the word, Rod Bradley has transformed vacant and underutilized properties into thriving neighborhoods and businesses — including a 23-home development on a former salvage yard, a 14-unit apartment building, and the revitalization of key historic downtown properties. His investments haven’t just been financial — they’ve been a direct commitment to making Sturgis a better place to live and work.

Rod Bradley holds a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Business degree with Accounting and Finance from Northern State University, and is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant (exam-passed). That financial expertise means Sturgis would have a fiscally responsible steward in the mayor’s office.
